| The Management Team has decades of experience and understanding of outsourcing, real estate and financial markets. The Management Team has the necessary relationship and contacts for deal creation, execution and financial structuring of entry and exit. The Fund managers are:
Mr. Ishan Singh, is founder of Re Capital India Fund - an investment vehicle registered with SEBI - the Securities and Exchange Commission of India as a domestic venture capital fund. From 2006 to 2012, he focused on developing a portfolio of income yielding commercial real estate and has successfully completed projects worth $70 million and has residual land bank of 1.2 million sf. In April 2012 he launched an incubator investing in early stage companies.
Prior, Mr. Singh was with several successful ventures that include - WNS Global Services (India's first NYSE listed BPO firm), EMR Technology Ventures (one of the largest providers of mortgage and insurance back office services in India), and as founder / CEO of New York based Itech Global Group from 1998 to 2002, invested in and was a part of the creation of several technology / internet ventures - eRSVP.com (online event management and ticketing), OnMoney Financial Services (an online financial advisory site built for Ameritrade), Greenwich Financial Services (corporate benefits, insurance and pension consulting) and outsourcetoindia.com (outsourcing advisory services).
Mr. Singh started his career in OTC analgesic brand management with Reckitt Benckiser (UK) and later spent 5 years with AXA Financial in New York where he won several awards including "Rookie of the Year".
He earned his MBA with commendation from Manchester Business School (UK) and holds a Certificate in CRM from New York University and has attended executive education at Harvard Business School. He has also attended courses on UI design, information architecture and testing.
He is the 5th generation of his family to have graduated from St. Stephens College in New Delhi. Two of his uncles have served in the central cabinet in India.
Ishan is a member of the Delhi Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization, and a Charter Member at TiE – The Indus Entrepreneurs and past board member of Network of Indian Professionals in New York. A financial planner by training he is also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (UK). A keen sportsperson, he enjoys scuba diving and adventure sports.
